This Bon Appetit recipes is my not-so-secret guilty pleasure. The second I get my hands on a ripe avocado, morning or night, it is time for avocado crostini.
Drizzle EVOO over slice of fresh bread (I use slice of Trader Joe’s country loaf). Broil the bread until it is toasted, about 4 minutes. Lightly cut cross-lines through the crostini and rub a garlic clove over the toast. Top the garlic-rubbed crostini with salt-seasoned mashed avocado. Top with red chili flake and finish with a light drizzle of EVOO.
